Lefkada
Lefkada consists of 24 islands, scattered in a tiny archipelago. It is located very close to Paxos, Corfu and Kefalonia, just above the middle of the western coastline of mainland Greece and it is the fourth largest Ionian island. Beaches

Ammoglossa and Kastro are 2 beaches located at the entrance of the island, opposite the castle of Agia Mavra. They have white sand, blue waters and are suitable for families with children. Beaches with clear waters, mainly preferred by the locals, have free parking.
Agios Ioannis and Myloi.Sandy beaches just 350 meters from the villa. There are five old windmills which dominate the area. One of them has been restored and functions as a beach bar. In Agios Ioannis there are parts of organized beach, with sunbeds and umbrellas as well as cafes and restaurants. The beach of Myloi, due to the strong winds, is considered ideal by windsurfing and kitesurfing lovers who flock there from all over the world.
Pefkoulia. Large sandy beach with crystal clear waters and pine forest that reaches the sand. The clear blue waters and the idyllic environment make it ideal for endless hours of sunbathing. It offers easy access, is partially organized, free from the crowds that prevail in other popular beaches during the summer peak. After the big rock there is also a nudist area.
Kathisma. Particularly popular and award-winning beach at a distance of fifteen kilometers from the town. The panoramic view of the wonderful turquoise waters will give you an intense feeling of joy and will intensify your desire for your first dive. Access is particularly easy by car or bus. The beach is fully organized with private parking, beach bar and restaurants.
Mylos. A well hidden beach, with the most intense turquoise waters you will encounter. After leaving your car in the village of Agios Nikitas, you can take the sea taxi from the beach and after a journey of five minutes you will find yourselves in this enchanting beach. The more adventurous, can choose hiking from a narrow path through a bushy landscape that starts from the village and ends at the beach.
Kavalikefta – Megali Petra – Avali. Three sandy beaches, next to each other near the village of Kalamitsi with turquoise crystal clear waters, white pebbles, sand and rocks. They also have a canteen, a few sunbeds and umbrellas. The road has a slight difficulty, as it is a bit narrow. However, when you reach them, the beauty of the landscape will compensate you.
Gialos. Just before Athani there is a large sandy beach with rocks that is visited by campers. The transparent waters in all shades of blue are harmoniously combined with the green vegetation and the tranquility of the landscape is dreamy. There is also a canteen.
Egremni. An exotic awarded beach, famous for its incomparable beauty, its unique views, the smells of nature and its clear blue waters that compose a wonderful environment. It is considered to be one of the best in the Mediterranean. The landscape is reminiscent of the Caribbean. You can reach the beach by boat from Nidri and Vasiliki or by walking 1,5 km and descending steps on a winding path.
Porto katsiki. A white strip of sand in front of an impressive white rock. It is world famous, as it has been awarded as the best beach in Greece and we have seen it in endless tourist campaigns. This is the most impressive beach of Lefkada, exhibiting unique beauty and natural landscape. Accessible via the downhill road with the 100 steps starting from the parking lot (which is full of canteens) or by boat from Nydri and Vasiliki.
Agiofylli. One of the most beautiful pebble beaches of the island. It is located in a very picturesque cove on the left side of Vasiliki . The waters are turquoise and crystal clear. You can take the boat from Vasiliki or follow the path that starts from its southeast side.

City
At the entrance of Lefkada, near Ammoglossa, rises the impressive castle of Agia Mavra, a model of fortification architecture of the Middle Ages. The small islands of Sikelianos and Valaoritis are highly artistic. The traditional architecture of the Ionian Islands is combined with a taste of Burano, Italy. The paths that one can follow in order to explore it are endless. A walk on the footbridge and the lagoon area at sunset when the sun “dives” into the sea is mandatory. Apart from the Marina and the main pedestrian street, do not hesitate to walk to the so-called cantons, in order to visit the city’s old churches, the Phonograph Museum, the Angelos Sikelianos Museum and the Public Library .
Dasos Skaron
It is one of the most beautiful places in the inland with rare flora, and a forest of rare oak species. The area with its wild imposing beauty is suitable for walking. The peak at the end of the route will reward you with a uniquely imposing view of the islands of Lefkada.
Akrotiri
The Cape of Lefkada, gives the impression that it has received a divine touch, causing the visitor a feeling of eternity, since here, ancient legends and history meet within a majestic scenery of nature. White rocks with a height of 60 meters,impressive sounds coming from the waves crashing on them and stories that go back to the 6th century BC. Waterfalls in Nydri
They offer a unique spectacle, a monument of nature. It is a place that offers absolute peace and quiet away from the noisy beaches or the touristy Nydri. This wonderful location that welcomes nature lovers and lovers of ecotourism routes is located at a short distance from Nidri, (about 4 km) and it is very easy for the visitor to find them. You will pass a short green path and you will reach a place with dense vegetation, plane trees and running water among the rocks that compose a hidden oasis.
Prigiponisia
It is a complex of small islands located on the east coast of Lefkada island near Nydri. The complex includes the islands: Meganisi, (which is the largest of the complex), Scorpio, Scorpidi, Sparti, Madouri, Cheloni and Tsokari. They belong to the group of Tilevoides islands (Taphians) that also includes the islands of Kalamos, Kastos, Arkoudi and Atokos.
